Analysis of Your Download
While 300 Mbps is a solid connection, downloading 120 GB will take some patience. Consider starting the download before bed or while you're at work to avoid waiting around.
Common Use Cases for 120 GB Files
AAA video games (Call of Duty, GTA V)
4K movie collections
Operating system images
Large software suites
How Is This Calculated?
We use the standard formula: Time = File Size ÷ Speed
The tricky part is unit conversion. ISPs advertise speed in Megabits per second (Mbps), but file sizes are in Megabytes (MB) or Gigabytes (GB). Since 1 Byte = 8 bits:
• File size: 120 GB = 983,040 Megabits
• Speed: 300 Mbps
• Time: 983,040 ÷ 300 = 3277 seconds ≈ 54 minutes 37 seconds
